KUALA LUMPUR, 11 Feb (The Star) -- Voters can now check for their polling district on the Election Commission website.
Just visit www.spr.gov.my and enter your identity card number to find out where your polling district is. You also get to see the constituency (Parliament and state assembly) you come under.
EC chairman Tan Sri Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman said the website would be a useful guide for candidates, their agents and workers.
“The website also gives some basic information about our system of government, the Election Commission, its organisation, powers and functions.
“It has election laws and guidelines about the election process,” he said. |
