PUTRAJAYA, 19 June (The Star) -- Students can call three lines to check the status of their applications to public universities – the UPU infoline at 600-83-7890, hotline at 03-8883 5858 or helpline at 03-8883 5848.
They can also check by going to www.jpt.uum.edu.my, www.jpt.utm.my or www.mohe.gov.my or by sending a text message to 32300.
Those who fail to get a place or are offered places outside their eight choices have until June 29 to appeal via www.mohe.gov.my.
They have to provide their MyKad number and state two choices of courses when submitting appeals.
According to the Higher Education Management Department, decisions on appeals are dependent on the places available in specific courses at the universities after the registration of new students.
Those offered one of their eight choices but still want to appeal, can do so through the university they have been accepted into after registration. |
